everyone please sign, i know this should be in off-topic, but the most ppl come here, and its your duty as a car enthusiast to rid the evil plague - APC.

That has to be the gayist petition I have ever seen. Is this real? I don't have one of they're products but I would have to say that somebody has WAY to much time on they're hands. These people should work on banning vibrators so it might increase they're chance of getting laid.

I have an APC exhaust tip. It was $19.99, is 100% stainless and has a 2.5" inlet and a 3" rolled angled outlet. It is a far cry from rice and I like it!

It is also a weld on tip, not a screw on tip. And the price was just right!

Other than that, I don't think I'll be buying any fire extinquishers, Z-24, Honduh, or GT-R emblems off of them. Or any blue, green, red, or orange bulbs off of them. But to try and ban a company for making a profit off of the uninformed or unknowledgable. That's just plain crazy. I actually applaud a company who can do what they are doing.

Also think about the people who work for APC who aren't the corporate @$$holes that decide how to maunfacture crap. I would say most of the employess probably do their job and go home. They don't deserve losing their job b/c the company they work for sells $hit.

On a less serious note, I always have a good laugh when I see some ricer going down the road in an APC Rice-Patty. I mean come on... with all the weight they add with all the stickers, badges, and ugly/unnecessary lights,etc., they have to have more power. Lemme tell ya, those badges add a lot of torque too! lol I personally will never taint my car with the likes of APC, but leave 'em be....

I think that some of the points are valid like the tail lights and stuff like that, but they are right. Have someone proof read the petition first so it hits larger and makes it sound more viable or realistic than it does now. They are going to laugh at that unfortunatly.

yeah..that was me. :) i can link the thread over on hondavision if need be. Junior Nguyen from APC decided to email the owner of traysliders.com and tell him APC was going to fine him for using their logo. Basically corporate bully tactics. Well, he proceeded to receive about 20 or so emails from people that work in the field of law (from hondavision) and he basically dug himself a hole. Pretty funny.

Not that I like badges or altezzas, but how much weight can stickers or badges add? 10, 11oz??? And the last time I checked, whenever ricers install altezzas, they take the stocks out.

well i really really don't like apc just bc everyone has their washer lights or clear corners and plasters apc stickers all over their car...but a petition to ban them? btw..i hear that for once an american car mod is sweeping the way through japan...u guessed it...APC! their altezza lights :rolleyes:

the biggest prob is w/ the altezzas NOT have side reflectors in 'em like OEM does. also APC altezzas have been known to have crappy seals. if this petition were more geared toward safety rather than "banning rice" then perhaps he/she might have more than a pithy 665 signatures. personally i think APC and others should focus their attention on quality and not quantity. but who am i...just another "ricer" i guess.
