I have a 99' P11 (Infiniti G20t) automatic, and I am looking to swap the tranny and get either a SR20DET engine or the SR20VE...what steps should I take, and how much is it gonna cost. Can it be done? Where can I get it done? How long will it take? I live in las vegas NV. and dont know where to begin. Any help I can get I would appreciate it. I have been told by another member that the VE's are great but limited to what you an do to them. He aslo told me the DET's where great but only limited by your bank account. I found a quote for 4000, wich includes tranny engine ecu and harness with complete work needed to be doen to install does thsi sound about right? Thanks for your time.

Do a search in both the det and ve forums. ou will get all your answers. And dont go for the places that try and sell you the trannies with the det's. They are AWD trannies that wont work. You need a USDM tranny.

JGY customs sells DET's for $1700, and i think trannies for $450, from what i have heard they are good to go through. give them a call, 540-379-1848.

ve's are not limited. this is some sort of myth. read the ve section and you will see there is a lot to them. heck you can even put a turbo on it.
