I wasn't necessarily sure where to post this, but thought that it would make the most sense here.

Lately I have been thinking that it would be pretty cool to have a ROTM section like how G20.net has.

I can only speak for myself when I say this, but I am sure that there are probably others who feel the same way. I really enjoy seeing cars that are put together really well, and hearing from their owners.

*I tried searching on this topic to see if anyone had suggested it in the past, but came up with absolutely nothing*

I know that g20.net is a smaller forum and therefore makes it a bit easier, but here we could even potentially break it down by platform

For example:

Ride of the Month - Classic
Ride of the Month - NX
Ride of the Month - 200sx
etc... etc..


Well yeah, that is my preposition for it, hopefully you guys feel the same way and would like to see something similar to this.

For a while I've been seeing an empty Project of the Month section in the Member's rides section. I'm not sure what's going on with that.

This is going to get off the ground with an upcoming site update. Finally!

In my eyes, this needs to happen... I think it could be the start of something beautiful. It would get the winner of each month a sense of pride in their vehicle, and it would be entertainment for those of us who like learning the stories behind our fellow forum members journeys with their cars!

Who is down for this idea? let your voice be heard!

I'm a Mod over there and have selected the last 6 MOTM guys.
We look not only for a slick ride but also a good member. Someone that helps out with questions, maybe does a writeup, overall a contributing member. We also alternate each month with a P10 then a P11 so I'm sure you guys could do the same, B13, NX, B14. Sponsorship is appreciated but not a requirement for the MOTM.
We also have the same questions, if Chris wants a template of the questions please let me know.

I think that it would be really cool, if we could get the ball rolling as soon as possible, that way we could start it off in January of 2008 and go from there...

I know I am relatively new to the forum, but I definitely would be willing to spearhead this with full force along with some help from the experienced.

It very possibly could go to anyone, but at this point I am more concerned with turning this idea into a reality, rather than evaluating potential candidates for who it would be.

How would we go about doing that... should we add like an online poll or something or make a list of supporters. There is always power in numbers!

I like this idea, because it'll give everyone motivation to get their cars cleaner. Like mine for example, has bird sh*t all over it

This idea doesn't need any more support because we are going to add this feature already. It hinges on the installation of a front page/portal which is going to happen very, very soon, likely before the end of the year.
