wait i have a usdm de that i turbo'd. so does that mean i can just ignore that cause i dont have a charcoal canister. god i am lost,

:biggthump i was lookin at charlie2020's vac routing and it says that line under the throttle body should go to the carbon canister. well mine was capped off and i have no idea what the carbon canister looks like or where it is. so if some one would be so kind to post i would appreciate it. thanks ....rico

it's my understanding that the charcoal (or carbon) canister is for emissions purposes only. it absorbs fuel vapor from the tank and recycles the air through the vaccum system.

its underneath the master cylinder its black, plastic, and has 2 or 3 nipples on the top. Shaped like a canister :D

now the fun part routing the hose. one comes from the fuel tank, one goes to the intake manifold and i think one goes to the throttle body or the pipe after the maf, but which one is goes where...i don't have a clue. i gave up trying to get it right so good luck with it. post up if you think you have it right so i can fix mine too :)
