Or anybody driven a SE-R with one in it? How do you like it? I like their offerings for our cars....just wanted to get some feedback.

Stay Away! They are horrible! Both in Quality and Customer Service! I used to be a dealer for them when I work for APEX. Horrible Business Ethics + Junk Clutch Kits = Bad News!

I've not personally used the Clutchmasters clutch, but I know several people who have. None of them were happy. If you are looking for a good deal/value, then check into the JWT setup. Just run a search for it and you will find all the information you can possibly need. It costs a bit more, but you will be much happier. JWT is known for taking care of their customers too. Good luck!

I've actually decided to run the clutchmasters stage 3, I am going to pick up the clutch kit this weekend. I've personally drove in a car that had a clutchmasters stage 4, let me tell ya the clutch pedal is just like stock it doesn't even miss a beat. As far as there customer service I've never spoke with anybody from cali but have spoke to Chris Jewell the marketing director and he gave me about 1 hour of his time dedicated to me and my friend and this was at an import event in Englishtown. He even gave us beer :D. I am going to try the Stage 3, I am going with this setup because I am tied on having to always mash down the pedal with all the power in my leg muscles. Doesn't JWT use a Clutchmasters pressure plate as part of their kit.

I had a clutch master stage 2 and it stunk  Costed me $500 to run one summer @ the drag strip and it was done! Now granted I'm a speed demon but give me a break :( I have the centerforce dual friction which held up to more hp and the same type of abuse. The only thing I did like about the clutchmaster was it clamping. I could chirp third gear ever so slightly, it grabbed good but died fast. I wouldn't mess with it again.

I've heard lots of complaints about the Clutchmasters Stage 2 and higher, but not the Stage 1.

I've had a Clutchmasters Stage 1 for 3 years and it has served me very well. That's 3 full seasons of drag, street, and autox. No complaints about it at all.

I spoke with a guy who works for exedy racing clutches AKA daikin clutch corporation. He explained to me that daikin owns 20% of nissan and is the oem supplier. Exedy is the high performance division of daikin. He also explained that companies like clutchmasters, centerforce, and even sachs modify daikin OEM pieces and sell them as "performance" clutches.

Hope this helps

I got their lightweight flywheel and stage 2 for 6-7 months now. I have no problems yet, especially the way I drive. Put about 9-10k miles on it already. Try to rev match as best I can, but I don't go racing of any kind. Its holding all the power with no slippage. Anyway, I needed a new clutch (to replace the fried stock one) and with a turbo this winter I planned on replacing the CM with a stronger one. Haven't decided which way to go yet.

I bought my first Clutchmasters Stage 1 about 5 years ago. It lasted ~25,ooo miles before the friction material separated from the housing. It was a gen 1. Clutchmasters gave me a reasonable discount on a new stage 1 based on prorating the age of the first clutch. The new stage 1 was of signifigant better design (read: twice as many rivets holding on the friction material). The new stage 1 has been in the car for about 5000 miles w/ boat loads of autox runs, dozens of drag runs and one road course event. So far, so good.

Note: I drive the car very hard and have all the mods.
