i have a 93 nx and the oem foglights are gone, i want go get some new foglights but there arnt any wires, do the oem foglights come with the wiring or should i just keep searching for the wires themselves?

i have a 93 nx and i doesnt have fog lights it has a place for them, i should be getting two newer fog lights but i dont see any wires running dow to the, i have the switch inside my car for the and everything, it lookings like the original foglights broke off but i dont no, this is kinda ou there but could anyone assist me on finding these wires or if its not to hard how could i replace the wires

hmmm edit is good,Now the answer would be.(1) yes the wires are there (2) the fog lights are expensive I paid $320 for mine at the dealer and took out the caps of the bulbs they are HELLA bright i even have other drivers flashing there lights at me :D very bright. there is a cap on the bulb to keep the brightness down? hmm perhaps i should do that to mine. my highbeams on my headlights don't work. when i go to click it over they go dark (or off). i change bulbs and still get the same thing. could use some brain power mine is close to burning out.

Your fogs are nice and clean. i bought mine off a fourm member i love the way they work i also took out the cap and im using 100watt bulbs from autozone but without them caps is a big diffrence much nicer

I honestly didnt know that bulb could be changed?? when i looked at it the it looked like one whole piece.

Recommendation: Change all of the Foglight screws to stainless steel ones, before your OEM screws become frozen into the unit. The OEM screws are made of soft metals and once frozen are a PITA (if not impossible) to remove. Replace all 5 of them while you can: the mounting screw & the 4 screws on the rear of the case. You will thank me when a bulb burns-out and you will be able to remove it easily.

funny you mentioned thats exaxtly what happened to me i had to drill em out wher do i get the screws your talking about??

yea the lights i bought some of them were cut off to get it open so i replaced them to. i just went to lows and found some. well any hardware place

Yep. Home Depot, American Hardware, Lowes all have stainless screws. Just take one with you to matchup the head size, thread, and length. I also used some anti-seize when installing the new screws as extra protection.

haha mines about 2 1/2 3 inch off the ground if that. well with my lip in the front. but i droped the car as low as it could go front and back with coilovers.

It realy works when you do that there almost if not brighter than my head lights the caps are over the bulbs remove the glass lense and go to town with a nice pair of pliers.

Please do take pics im very curious to see what they look like my next thing is getting some EDM headlights i want Realy CLEAN!!! if not braaaannnd new from the Dealer i got a quote out of a member who looked em up for me in holand (got family there) for 385 euros thats about 560 u.s dollars but i dont care cause its my NX and when im finished with it will be close to new condition. I even have the original reciept for the car it was bought for 14k in 92 and the ladies name is on it im planning on taking the drive soon to show her the car that will be soo cool and the guy who i bought it from let him kick himself to see what he let go for 200 dollars:biggthump

ive looked for the wires all over, the only thing i can see is a plugin behind the headlight that doesnt go to anything, but its not long enough to reach, there is one behind both headlights, any opinions?

Hey brooklyn nx daag why you aint let me know before hand that it was eibach you were going for. would have told you to pass on that... that what i first had. and actually i still have rear springs on (1.1) but at 1.4 in the front it could still go a little lower with no problem. thus i bought Suspension Technique 1.5 1.5 nx. but i feel i could go a tid bit lower. esp in the back. so the combo i'm going for is 1.6 1.5 . just that i have to buy to different sets of springs (voglant and S T for a sentra se-r) use the front springs of vogtland and the rear of S T. i know it's gonna look good and handle even better etc, even when i switch to my b- 14 se-r rims. all for a total cost of about 385.

i don't mean to be off subject. sorry. i know this is about fog lights. anybody know of an aftermarket brand that could act as bright lights when your on a dark road all by yourself and need that extra viewing distance? my brights in my car don't work. changed bulbs still no result. yet the regular lights work.
