im looking at runing nos on a stock sr20, aftermarket ecu and quad throttles, mayb cams later
running a 150 shot direct port with progressive rate control what sort of power at the wheels would be expected? im trying to weigh up my options.
also for every day driving on average how long would a standard size bottle last compared to tanks of fuel, say 40L rust rough not exact.
cheers and my name is joel im new and from australia

why would you go through any n20 doing everyday driving. unless you are late to work. save the spray for the track

It will be hard to get an answer to this question there are not that many nitrous techs on here and if there is they don't want to give away "secrets". Trust me I send people pms begging them for help not even a return message sent back. So Im going to go out and blow up my own motor at least I'd be getting somewhere.

Don't take this as a direct answer but you would probably make around 290-310 hp. Which sound good for a 13.5-14.2 quarter mile run depending on which body your using. I'm no expert though.

Hey Joel, welcome to the community! Nitrous is not constantly on, only used unless you trigger it, so it will last a while if you use it sparingly...... and its not a good idea to use 150 shot on the street anyways.......save it for the track.
I would guess you'd make about 250-280 whp. Ive seen a 10 lb. bottle last about 15 runs down the quarter before you have to fill again.

yeah lol... n20 is crack! I had 100 shot on my old civic. I couldnt just not use it! Spent $100 a week filling the bottle! With the right setup it can work on a daily driven/ daily sprayed car. Those guys are right though.. If your looking for that kind of power.. Just spend the money and go turbo!

I think I'll be adding a wet 50 shot on my turbo set-up too....
