Uh... that's been that way for a while. An ebonics filter was created to make the forum easier to read by pointing out the lazy and weak minded who prefer to constantly use slang.

It will be if we use it enough. Just like they changed the meaning of eager and anxious. Used to be anxious was "NOT looking forward to ..." now they are interchangeable. That bugs me.

Is pwnt? ;)

Never even thought about anxious ***(ugh). That's very interesting. I find funny that "morph" has taken on the meaning "to change" even though if you break down metamorphosis, meta- means to change and -morph means body.

And explain to me "sick"!? I guess I'm old. I did use "bad" to mean "good" when Michael Jackson was black though.

I don't use slang (in normal posts) and I've had my words filtered to "***" at some point. When I saw that, I read the sentence and it didn't make any sense, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what word it took out so that I could correct the sentence. It was very, very odd.

*shrug*

I find the asterisks make posts harder to understand when they pop up.

Edit: If I don't know what T-H-O means (I don't) and I care enough, I'll look it up, and have gained knowledge because of it. Asterisks just remove useful information, and possibly force people to sound less... idiotic? I'd rather know instantly how stupid someone is by the words they choose to use, not have a filter force them to say "Yes mam." "No sir." "Would you like me to pick some more cotton from the fields, sir?"

T-H-O is the listing name of Thor Industries Inc. How can we discuss their stock missing production expectations now?
