Does anyone have an opinion as to which one of these headers is the better of the two, they are made the same way except with different materials. But if anyone has an opinion as to which is the better part please reply so I can get on with making a purchase.

thanks

I like Hotshot, but they are no longer in business.

I was able to find a dealer that had four Hotshot headers for the 00-01 SR20de in the SE Sentra, but I also saw that Weapon-R had a header available as well, just trying to decide which one to get. Ceramic Hotshot or the stainless Weapon-R, and which one is the better header in terms of welds, fitment and durability.

yea sure I give you the link when you provide some positive or negative input regarding the question that was asked, who makes the better Header, Hotshot or Weapon-R for the 00-01 SR20de? and why?

no i am not holding the link hostage but as I said there are 4 of them left so, i wanted to have some opinion as to which one was the better header, before I made a purchase. 2K is not where I am getting the header from anyway and the price im getting it is $230. So anybody please feel free to add something to the actual topic of which is the better header, the ceramic Hotshot or the stainless Weapon-R.

the pictures in those are not for an sr20. if you look at the flange its not close to being the same, so my guess is they look the same as every other header that was mass produced for the sr20. i thought this was covered in another thread, but that must have been the other forum. and the one pictured looks more like acura/honda, plus the left 2 pipes would be bent to clear the a/c where as its the opposite in that picture.

I had both headers. First the Hotshot. Nice quality, nice coating, def. less heat build-up. It cracked at the collector after 2 years. Good performance and fitment.
Then I got the Weapon R. Same performance, no coating however, so I got some spots and flaking. It cracked a couple of months after I wrapped it.
Now i'm running SSAC. Bit larger size tubing, performance still very good, no difference noticable compared wih former two.
I run a sport cat, 2.25 inch custom catback with resonator and Remus muffler.
