My 97 200SX SE-R is near the end of the project with the BB swap. But.....
I have a couple of questions:
1. When the clutch is pushed in the pedal doesnt pop back up even though it appears that the clutch cable is installed properly. What is there to do????
2. The passenger side half-shaft is leakin from the seal slowly. It seems as if I cant push the brass ring where it mates flush with the half-shaft rubber seal. Which part of the brass ring faces out towards the passenger side, the dome shaped part or the lip?
3. What is the torque spec on the wheel hub nut?
4. How does the BB top-mount(the flat pipe) fit with the A/C line in the way?
thnx for all the help.

1. Hmm, if it's not the clutch, then you may have to pull the tranny off to see if the throwout bearing is properly installed. It may have fallen off the input shaft up on installation of the transmission.

2. Did you replace that particular seal? I just did a clutch job and didn't replace it becuase the guy didn't supply me with a replacement seal. You may have damaged it upon removal of the axle and not even known it.

3. I wanna say 250ft lbs. My torque wrench only goes to 150ft lbs. I jumped on my breaker bar to tighten it. Make sure to install a new cotter pin, just in case.

4. I've never seen it, but from memory, there's an inch or two of clearance between the A/C line and the valve cover. The BBDET flat pipe is mounted over the valve cover on that side. I would think that it clears. You can check if you have that particular pipe, just test fit it.

Hope this helps.
