Ive been talking to Terry alot and he has filled me in on some "going on's". So I was thinking I should throw up some "hype" and we should settle this at Cayuga this summer.

Its the age old question.... SR20VE vs SR20DET. Both engine and cars are mildly modified.

My engine has intake,crappy 2.25" exhaust with a MSD 8969 switching the cams. Pretty basic with a Calum ECU running everything. Throw up your engine mods bro! From what I remember you had a Basic T25 set-up with a FMIC and a boost controller.

So let the sh*t talking begin! Because its a long 4 months away until my car comes out of hiding.

I know for a fact that VE's are nothing to fool around with. A friend of mine is running 12's with his and with a tune I hope for mid 13's in my DE+T, but then again I have 182k+ on my DE and a small exhaust. But I'd like to see a video at a track:biggthump

from my knowledge Sentra2bturbod is trying to get rid of his car? i dont actually have a close contact with him but its just my observation from my pms and emails as well as posts from other forums.
but if he does get on this tell him im willing to permanently take care of his sunny front bumper for him he doesnt need it to race =p

Yes during the off nights in Ajax, Terry and I ask our selves the Age old question, who would stomp who in a VE vs DET battle.

My Car still stands as a basic T-25 set up,FMIC, Calum ECU and a boost controller. Maybe nothing to FastNX's handy work on your NX. but this race could get interesting on a road coarse, sweeping around and throwin on the brakes into a corner against your Egg.

So I would say A nice day at Mosprt's DDt or something would better fit this. Or maybe Dunnville. I am not one for the strip.

As for trying to sell my car. I could never part with 50sentra. Although it was close when you came down with your NX, Nismo.

I think theres a lapping day in May that we could make this a showdown. You In???

I took a ride in both cars, and for the life of me, i could not say definatively which was faster in a straight line. adam, you raise a good point though, it would be awesome to see the 2 cars battle it out at the track, considering the 2 of you have invested in much more then just your motors.

ryan's ve has some serious balls, it pulls damn hard and is pretty light. i never did get a chance to drive it, but my impressions from riding in it was that it prolly has stiffer spring rates then adam's sentra.

adam's sentra is probably a bit heavier, with softer springs. i did drive his car and thanks to the small turbo, the torque at part throttle was awesome, especially after you switched your maf to draw through. because the exhaust was quieter, it made the car seem slower, but in reality, the 2 cars accelerate to 100km/h at pretty much the same rate.

both cars are well balanced machines, and both drivers are experienced in their respective rides on the street and at the track.

i will be there when it happens, maybe in the 200 as a chase vehicle, we'll get someone to film from the passenger seat. either way, it's going to be a hell of a race!

Well I have been twice to the track without Adam being there,lol. Im heading there for the third time this Friday night...you in Adam?

Adam's on a cruise down south right now and I'm working on his car remounting the intercooler piping so the Sunny bumper driving lights will fit in.

Depending on how much money is needed to finish the drift car, we might be able to make it to one of the track days. Will have to wait on that

While he's away, stick some nice cams in that car to make sure that Ryan won't be able to catch him. I highly recommend the JWT S4/T25 combo. It makes it pull waaaay harder.

Funny thing, Ryan. I realized after that meet we had last spring, you didn't check out my car and take it for a spin. Should have! It's a trailer queen track-only car now.

I dont think it needs cams. Pretty quick right now. As a dad I really dont want him to loose his Daily driver to the cops

So all the cash/go fast parts is going into the drift/time attack car.

P.S. Adam, tongue-in-cheek. There's a good reason that I decided to make my car into a track-only vehicle - fewer speeding tickets! And it seems like increasingly Ontario comes down harder and harder on any car that appears anything other than stock. And then there's the streetracing law, which can be applied to anything, including garbage trucks...
