I'm still debating whether to leave the hood black or getting it painted to match the car when I get a paint job (which I hope is real soon).

I see no hood or scoop whatsoever!
It looks like the hood was just blackened out with photoshop.

maybe you should paint it red so we can see em :)

I quickly darkened the hood region to compensate for the extremem glare off the sun.
