NissanTuner 07-22-2002, 09:43 AM Anyone with an automatic tranny in a classic or NX notice how it shifts from nuetral to reverse? mine seems a little harsh. its quick and crisp, but it feels the same way an auto tranny feels when your reved up a little and put it in gear. neutral to drive is quite a bit softer... and I've noticed when i accelerate it tends to hold first gear for awhile. this is all leading me to believe the tranny needs to be adjusted. any thoughts? I know that going from auto to manual doesn't require you (although it's a good idea) to swap the ECU so with that on the backburner, what is the avg price of a auto to manual swap? You might buy a case of redline tranny fluid and take it to one of those places to see if they will do it for you. ~Ryan NissanTuner 08-03-2002, 11:02 PM well i took it to a well respected tranny place here in town, had them give it a look over, and tranny tune up. up shifts and downshifts much better, and it switches gears a lot better. they said everything in the tranny looks good! wOOt! on a side note, i saw another NX in town.... its like the electric blue color, but metallic. and it has a spoiler on the back! | ||
