hey guys...i was driving the car (95 se-r) on saturday and all of a sudden it lost power, and didnt want to rev up. it felt like something was sticking. as i pulled to the side of the road the motor "freed" itself. however ever since then the car has been overheating IE: ive had to run it with the heater on to keep it in the black zone of the temp guage. the car does not appear to have a coolant leak..but it is boiling off a lot of coolant in the couple trips ive made with it since sat. someone suggested maybe i have a clutch problem..thus transferring excess heat to the car (i have felt it slipping a bit lately) Sorry for the long post but im a newbie at all this and i am nto sure what to look for! thanks for any help you can provide

My friend with a 98 se-r had the same problem i told him to check his thermostat and that seem to be the problem! The car ran fine after he replaced it! It can also be your water pump, but i would check the thermostat first....
Hope this helps.....

just a quick check, are your fans working? a friend on the p5 forum was screwing around in that area and disconnected one of the fans making his car do the same thing. so just something to check.
