: Radiator hoses
Crono1321 07-22-2002, 10:13 PM I just put in a nice Hose Techniques SVH kit in my car, and while it looks great, its missing something. I am getting some new plug wires soon which will be red, but I need radiator hoses. I know there was a GB a while ago, but where can I get some now? Any help? Thanks guys!

Stiletto 07-23-2002, 04:34 PM ah yes! we have a winner...come on down! you can contact baker precision and ask for darlene. i'm the one who set up the GB for the hoses. i'm not sure what colors they have left.

AaroNX 07-23-2002, 07:32 PM Hey I need some too, anyone know how much or should I call?
Stiletto 07-23-2002, 11:02 PM they were $110 through the GB.
Crono1321 07-23-2002, 11:16 PM OH. MY. GOD. That's quite expensive. My car payment is only a little more than that....of course you could say that about anything. Were these for looks only, or do they have some other advantages? Also, will the "heater hoses" on hose techniques' website work for the radiator hoses?

sr20ser 07-23-2002, 11:43 PM I will assume we are talking about silicone hoses here, so this is my .02. Silicone is less likely to break down over time like rubber from heat, moisture, dirt, etc. With this said they will last longer than OE hoses, and look a hell of a lot better.
AaroNX 07-24-2002, 08:11 AM I think the ones from courtesy were like 150. Are they the same? Does anyone have these hoses, if so what did you think about them?
martin_g34 07-24-2002, 02:57 PM From what I know the Baker hoses are the same ones that Courtesy was selling. I bought a set from the GB and they are beautiful.
Crono: I'm not sure if the HS radiator hoses will look as nice, but I'm sure they will work. The Baker hoses have the bends that are needed to fit right. They pretty much have the same shape as the stock ones.
The Baker hoses fit great, but I did have to trim the upper radiator hose a little bit. But it was very easy to do.

Xsanity 07-24-2002, 09:35 PM just a heads up, i found the blue ones that i purchased to be a little pale in comparison to the hose techniques sampler pack they sent me....

yep, just ask for darlene. tell her you want the rad. hoses for the 200sx w/ the sr20de. or just say the same hoses that rich bought for the group buy of nissan 200sx's.
