I'm gonna buy some JWT S3's cams here in about a day or two and even though its a great deal is it worth the money. I have a JDM spec SR20DE and it was my understanding that all the 10.0:1 compression JDM motors like mine have the same cams as the 91 cams. Now when i looked at some dyno charts it says that these will give me about 6whp. Is that really worth my $500? While anyone with the newer cams will get about 13whp. Man thats not fare. Also what can i expect pairing these with my Hotshot Gen 4 header and HS CAI?

The JDM engine, and compression question comes up all the time. First off, are you completely sure you have a 10:1 compression engine? For some time I thought I had a 10:1 engine, but its a 9.5:1.
SE-Rican on the forum has a JDM engine too, 9.5:1, with S4 cams, he gained 11hp. And if you ask him, I'm sure he will agree the cams are worth the money.
Hope this helps you.

I was told by SR20Development when i bought it that it is 10:1 compression. But i could see it not being that. How would you find out for sure. How did you find out that you had a 9.5:1 compression motor? If i could find that out i might just get a blue bird setup and throw it on this motor. Which would you get S3's or S4's if going turbo?
