It's about as good as the sentra gxe. My friend has an old sentra w/ the ga16 in it, they are about as quick as a civic lx. While its still fun to drive with a manual transmission, I wouldn't trade my car for it. :D

Why not, honda's aren't bad cars, they are just brought down by the masses who buy cheap shit for it. There is nothing wrong with a civic, prelude, or integra. They are nice cars that need a lot less maintanence than any 200sx or sentra. IMO, people need to stop hating on honda's and worry more about their own cars.

i have to disagree with you on the maintance part. my friends, one has a 98 lude, and the other has a 2k si. the guy with the lude is always getting his valves adjusted. sr20 im told they never need adjusted. the other guy,....well he isnt all there. lets say he wondered why vtec wouldnt engauge, took it to the dealer. they checked his oil, 2+ qts low. hum. all cars need maintance.

i has a 96 200sx se. with a few mods, i kept with a equally modded civic ex. and one more thing. how well do hondas hold value. really well because people want to buy them and put that cheap poop on them. make me wonder if the 200 had a bigger following, how much it could be worth?

Good point on the value, brian. While I can't say honda's never require maintenence, I still think they last a lot longer. Now, with the oil....you can't blame the car for that...that's all your friend. The valve's adjusted...never even heard of that. I haven't looked into stuff below the head. Good post bro.

the low oil problem is related to his b16 being built with 11.1 pistons. and valve.........about 3Grand worth of parts. im not downing hondas.

I have a 200SX SE. It sucks. To be honest with you, this is one of the worst 10 mistakes i have ever made in my life. Test drive it, and you will know what i'm talking about.
