1992 Nissan NX2000
Exterior: Black
Interior: Black/Grey
Location: Fort Mill, SC (8 miles South of Charlotte, NC)
Mileage: 192,400 on chassis and approx. 60-70K on highport sr20de JDM 9:5:1motor, no leaks, no issues, drives perfect! 25 city/ 32 highway MPG and daily driven to work.
Features: T-tops with leather bags, Auto mirrors and windows, SE-R cloth seats, A/C (bad compressor but converted to R134, working compressor comes with car but needs to be installed), cruise control, fog lights (caps removed so fogs are very bright), 5 Speed Transmission
Engine Modifications- all in great shape - Hotshot cold air intake, knock-off HotShot Gen 5 Header in great shape (no cracks) and gold in color, custom 2.25" exhaust with Thrush resonator to a magnaflow muffler (no drone, sounds deep and smooth), advanced timing to 19 degrees, poly motor mounts, Magnacore spark plug wires
Suspension Modifications- all in great shape - Front strut bar, KYB GR2 struts on stock springs - perfect for daily driving
Transmission- in great shape - smooth shifting in all gears, no 5th gear pop out, OEM clutch with SE disk (apprx 15K on clutch unit), limited slip of course with recommended Nissan transmission fluid and a new rear main seal
Maintenance/Repairs (all done by me)- Full synthetic oil changes every 3500 miles, both C/V axles were replaced this year, OEM spark plugs, fuel filter, both belts, distributor O-ring, throttle body cleaned, new reman. A/C Delco alternator, new battery, front rotors and pads have about 10K on them, rear rotors and pads have about 2K on them
Exterior - Good condition black paint (repainted two years ago), Klasse waxed and polished, it cleans up very well and water beads up on the paint, front fender has a dent on it but a good condition fender will come with the car. Typical paint chips and door dings on paint and trim, typical of a 16 year old car, the pics speak for themself, car was washed once a week
Tires/Wheels - stock NX wheels in great shape (very little curbage or scratches), Fuzion tires with 40% tread on fronts and 15% tread on rears, all tires match.
Interior - all the buttons and switches work, a few cigarette burns in SE-R driver seat from previous owner, new black carpeting, NX floor mats, sound and rust proofing spray used for sound deadening in the trunk and under the car, legal tint on on two front windows, trunk struts still work like new
Overall - the car is in great shape for its age and has been a dependable daily driver for me for over a year, I have fixed almost all the issues with the car and taken great care of it and put a few bolt-on mods and new stereo on it since I purchased it from a former member. The car handles great in near stock form and is smooth at all speeds. The JDM motor install was done perfectly and retained the stock emissions equipment which I have plugged off but can be easily hooked up, it idles at 800 rpms just like it did from the factory, the car has NO OIL LEAKS and NO FLUID LEAKS, the JDM motor pulls hard and has been maintained very well by me
Issues/Complaints - passenger t-top leaks slightly in EXTREME downpours but that is it, no stereo, front passenger side brake has a squeak at times, powersteering belt squeals a little sometimes when its below 30 degrees at start up but its not consistent (most likely needs to be loosened a little) and goes away once throttle is pressed after start up, the trim around the windows is chipping off on driver side and I have touched it up with black paint, the front bumper/lip has the usual stress cracks in it but not bad at all, the interior dash has cracks in it, and the dent on the fender, that is it. Like I said, NO RUST AT ALL.
All issues have been disclosed to the smallest detail. Pictures taken in the fall of last year> More pics will come when the weather permits it, the car is in the exact same condition as the pictures except now it has a good wax/polish job I did to it two weekends ago that really makes it shine. The car makes a great daily driver, DE+T project, or just a fun car with your basic bolt-ons. Its never been at the track and I only get on the car when I go on my "spirited drives" to the mountains. I have owned several vehicles and sold them on forums including this one with no complaints from the buyers. I have a good reputation and know members on this forum that will vouch for the excellent condition of this vehicle. Pics posted below.
