Well I just got a ecu that I was told was out of a 2000 rr motor, but not sure what that was in. The ecu was sealed in an airtight black box that was hard to get into :).

Could you shed some light?

Can you get the harness to go with it? Hacked up is ok.

Yea, I can get the full harness, I think it is in pretty good shape. I can get some picks. (Its at my buddies house, he didn't need the ecu or harness)

Just for the record, what ecu is that out of? Like I said I just know its off a RR motor.

What would you offer for the whole kit-and-caboodle?

Hey Calum.

Well I got bad news. The harness was actually a dash harness, which clearly is not what we had discussed over the phone. Apparently my buddy didn't know the difference. That said, I really hope I didn't delay you, or cause you any setbacks, and I apologize for the confusion on my end.

On the good side, is the fact that he might let me cut the dash harness for the plug you were looking for.

Again, sorry for the screw up, completely my fault, let me know if you might want that, I will make sure I check it out first though (personally) so this doesn't happen again.

Sorry, I totally forgot about this. How much does he want for the ECU+harness?

O its no problem, just wanted to be sure you hadn't black listed my ass :eek:;).

Ok well, you understand what I meant above^^? I am %99 sure this is the interior harness, and the ECU only. I assume you remember our conversation on the phone? He told me he wanted $150 for the interior harness and that rr ecu to match. I might be able to talk him down, but I don't know him real well. Would you be interested? I assume shipping wouldn't be too much for this. Just to let you know, for the record, I still need to go see this for myself a 2nd time to verify that this harness is the complete interior and has the socket for the obd2.

Just get back to me when you can, again I just wanted to make sure you understand what is going on here.
