Got my wideband and afc going,surprising the car runs really good without any adjustments.The car idles at 14.0 afr.At wide open throttle the car is running at 10.7 afr,I was wondering what is the best ratio at wot for max hp and still be safe?

mine's tuned to high 11's under WOT. nice and safe, and makes great power.

Get ready for more wheel spin!!! Keep adjusting your A/F's until they are at 11.9 to 12 at WOT. This is where youll get the most power while still playing on the safe side.

At Idle I like my A/F's to sit at about 13.5. Cruising i like to see 14-14.5. WOT I like mine set at 12.0-12.2

i ghetto tuned mines with the turbo timer like charlie2020's post and after last tuesday's wideband session i surprisingly received my keys back after 20 minutes..the tech stated that i am in good range @ 11.7-9

i have mine around the 12.5:1 it bounces a little between 12-12.5:1 i have no problemes at all and thats on 91 craptane gas. no detenation and makes awsome power, no problems yet after 3k miles of hard abuse. just traction issues. haha

Thanks guys,looks like I can lean it out a lil more.Just going from 9.7 to 10.7 made a hugh difference in the way it pulled.I'll go on up into the 11's and see how that feels.By the way I have the PLX DM-5 wideband and I love it,easy to install and it has the narrowband output so you can do away with the factory o2..............

deff get out of the 10 range, my car picked up around 30 hp just bringing it from 11.3to 11.9ish on a t28

Mid-11's is generally considered 'safe'. 12.0 is pushing it. My car was ~11.4-11.6 (JWT ecu), had 80k miles with the turbo (160k total), put down over 250whp on a t25, and about 6 hours worth of hard road course and auto-x track time, not to mention just redlining the car every trip I took. I don't think there's anyone on the forum that has beat my reliability record.

At idle and light cruise, you should be right around stoich, so 14.7. Otherwise, you're just burning extra gas.

i got mine at 11.7 and driving is 14.3-14.5
