I've done a bit of searching and I admit that I'm not up to speed on my non-North American Nissan nomenclature, but please bear with me -

Can someone confirm/deny that the early 90s Sunny (Europe)/Pulsar(Japan) GTI 2.0 is essentially the same, mechanically, as the Sentra SER/NX2K B13? Note that I'm not talking about the GTI-r with turbo, AWD

The searching I've done shows that it has very similar spec - SR20DE, struts up front, struts with two lateral and one trailing link in rear, same wheels, same dash, same wheelbase, same track.

The reason I ask is that I rally an NX2000 and I'm having trouble locating trick rally bits - the Sunny GTI was fully homologated for both Group A and Group N - the F2 car made something like 235hp and 175 ft-lbs - normally aspirated. Quaiffe has a five speed close ratio dog gear set available for the car, there's alloy links & control arms, ready-made rose joints (spherical bearings) for the suspension etc. etc.

What would be really cool is to import a shell (as "used car parts") and convert my rally car to a Group N Sunny.

Any info would be appreciated,

Robin
