I just added this si to my list. It's been a while since I had me a Civic. Gutless things are kinda fun to whip around once in a while. My wife likes it but I want a P10 very soon.

Now, on to seeing if I can pick up a dohc zc motor somewhere for cheap.

that swap is not as easy in the ef chassis.

I love the old zc motors, and they are fun to boost.

I think that would be the only way I spend so much money on a Honda motor.

Leave the engine alone and set it up for STS class Solo autocross. Those things kill in STS

Hey, where do I go to see some autocross action here in the valley? I wouldn't mind learning what it takes to set up a car properly.

lowest compression but the worst head flow.

if your going boost.. go h22.. and nothing on the street could beat you once you get traction

Theresplenty of cars that can beat a boosted h22 powered ef car.. Save your money and slap in a zc or ls.. Turbos are for nissans silly kid..lol

Well crap, I just realized the struts on this car are blown. Time to do some research about my choices. This car is lowered on H&R springs, lowered by about 2" total it looks like.

Salem has an autocross club... its Willamette Motor Club...
http://www.wmclub.org/
they are small, and thier courses are VERY tight and small. Usually too small, but good group of people.
I usually run with Oregon Region SCCA Solo...great people and they have the biggest, best lot to set up an autocross course, like 30 acres...but its a ways north in Packwood, WA. We also use the South Paddock lot at PIR but it isnt very good.

And the Emerald Empire Sports Car Club, a great group of guys down in Eugene...
http://eescc.org/

Those websites will have information on season schedules, where they run, and the SCCA site has some info for people new to the sport. If you have any other questions, let me know!

for a stock motor with a turbo kit, not much compares without $$

and the h22 is cheaper than an ls lol

and its sad there are more turbo honderrs running around vancouver than anything else :(
