Well, I took my black B14 rims, polished the lip somwhat, then repainted them black...how do they look?

I like them man, the lip makes them look so nice. Now mine look boring :p

i like em! the silver breaks up all the black making them look good! Man, dont you just love black classics! :D

I like it!! I do prefer Red Classics but.........;) IMHO nothing looks better than a Classic with B14 wheels!!:D

I gotta say that the black rims with the polished lip is pretty HOT!!! I want to paint my 200SX rims black like yours and pit them on my white NX. Damn that ish is hot to death.

Had cash in hand for a sweet '93 ruby pearl, all the options, 79K miles down in KC but it was sold before I even got a look at it. :( Was gonna buy myself a classic for my birthday but fate wouldn't have it. Nothing else promising out there so now I gotta wait some more and keep my eyes open. :eek: Why's it gotta be so hard?

:p Glad you like it. All I can say is keep looking for a classic, and one will turn up. I got mine 4.5 years ago, 86k miles, $3000 cash! I was just looking in the right place at the right time.

Great job man, giving me ideas for my black classic now. By the way, when I picked my classic up , garage kept, 60 K on it, only used on weekends, adult owned with rims, great shape for $3900. They are out there, actually there are 3 up in NY where I live right now going for under 3 grand. Just gotta look hard as hell. Up here no one cares about cars anyhow, they just think they are sentras.

Yeah, I was thinking about buying that serhomepage car but some schnutz beat me to the punch again, next thing ya know, he'll be on here asking what a CAI is and where to get one. :mad: Probably same goes with that cherry one I miseed out on. Seems like all thats for sale is stuff that needs work, or heavily modded overpriced ones. I'll keep looking.

Anyway, looks good... ok, on your car it looks very good. Jonathon was trying to tell me that the same thing would look good on mine(Veil White). But, I think if I do something like that, I'll use some sort of medium blue.

Unfortunately, my mother-inlaw lives in Tallahassee. Means I have to spend a few days every couple of months up there.:rolleyes:

Anyway, I'm so used to teasing my mother inlaw about FSU, it's just become a habit. I'm a Gator graduate, but I really don't have any phobias about FSU. Now I have someone else to pick on, yippy.

I even wrote a letter to the editor of the Tallahasse newspaper one year... about FSU not having a nickname for Doak Campbell Stadium. You know, Florida Field is called the Swamp, etc...

I suggested "Prison Yard", "Criminal Processing Field", "Get Out of Jail Free Field", and various others. Funny, they never printed my suggestions.:p

I'll have to let you know the next time we're up there. Please, it would give me an excuse to get out of the inlaws house.

Thanks, its not talent, its patience. :D It took me about 5 hours to do all 4 rims, with the tires on. Basically I used a wire wheel to get the old black paint off the lip, sanded it a bit, then taped it off, and painted the rest of the wheel. :)

What kind of paint did you use? I'm all excited now... I want to do my in blue.

I used Duplicolor engine enamel from Autozone, $4 a can. It only took one can for all 4 wheels. Make sure you primer them first!
