Every time I hit the brakes after making a hard right turn the pedal gets soft. It will stay firm as long as I don't make any hard turns. This is real annoying when autocrossing.

I've bleed the brakes several times with no improvement. As far as I know it has the original master cylinder. Could this be the problem? How much and how difficlut is it to replace?

Check your wheel bearings.
If you have excessive play in them, the rotors will tilt and push the caliper piston in causing the next brake application to be excessively long.
