Hi All,

I need some info to give my TIG welding friend about how i want my tial 40mm wastgate welding onto my gtir manifold, anyone got any pics of there install, or advice on what i should go for?

Should i get a pipe welded to the manifold and then get the flange for the gate welded on the end of that or have the flange welded directly on the manifold? also where on the headers shoud the feed for the gate go, where they all come together or just on one individual pipe etc.

I had my wastegate flange welded directly top center of manifold where all the runners meet. One of these days i will take pics when i get my camera back . I chose the top of the manifold as the best area due to the limited space i have in my engine bay.
You could run a pipie from manny to gate as well as long as its in the collector area for best results.
