As time goes on, the 20,000 SE-Rs out there are going to be
Wrecked
Junked
Blown Up
Driven Off cliffs.
And we, the elite, will have the rare cars.
And in such a situation I can charge as much as you are willing to pay for the goods that cant be found anywhere else!

Look around, cars.com, autotrader.com, auto wreckers websites, etc. I looked religiously for 4 months, called a lady in DC about a sentra. Just sentra. Turns out that is now my 1991 se-r, for $950. Mind you , the thing was junk. I think the bare chassis is all that remains of the original car. But to have a chassis with sr wiring harness, rear disks and all the other countless differences makes it worth it.

Sellers market. Plus the cars are getting a bit more respect over the years. Funny how a sleeper car that's 10 years old can still draw a crowd.
And for those of you still looking, it's going to be harder and harder to find one that has low mileage, is in good shape, and hasn't had the crap modified out of it.
With engine replacement being relatively inexpensive, don't get too hung up on mileage. Be more concerned with maintenance, number of owners, and a clean title. I'm not saying all Salvage/Junk title cars are bad, but it's almost impossible to find out the damage that was done to it and who did the rebuild... in other words, was it a quality repair.
Keep looking... everywhere... sentra network classifieds(where I found mine), autotrader, carfax, and others. Every time you log on to the pc, do your searches. Have your money ready.... don't find a car, then not have the funds. Be prepared to travel... I live in Florida and flew to Durham NC to look at one, purchased it, then drove that sweet baby home.
Last lesson. Most of you know what to look for when test driving or viewing the car. If you don't, get your big butt in gear and do some research. Asking the right questions can keep you from making a $3000 mistake. Oh yeah, if the engine has any type of mineral deposit on the motor or in the bay.... run away. This means that at some point in the past, it is likely the car was heavily exposed to salt water. If the motor has a very shiney replacement piece somewhere on the motor, and there is some of the heavy mineral deposit nearby... run away. Check the tail pipe. If it's a skinny ass little pipe and not the SE-R pipe, find out why. There are some unscrupulous people out there trying to pass the xe off as an se-r.
Didn't mean for this to run this long, diarrhea brain.
