Is anyone planing on going to the NOPI event on Sept 7 & 8 at Bradenton Track? I am trying to get Friday off to make it to both days.

i'll be there at Bradenton motorsports park for the Nopi Event. Haven't decided whether to go SAT. and SUN. Definately going. Also i might run my car.

I will end up going on Saturday as I could not get Sunday off. :(

I just got back from NOPI and man was it fun. I will post my pictures on my web site within the next few days. The cars there are BAD ASS :D . Lisa Kudro (sorry spelled her last name wrong) ran a 8.4 or 8.6 during one pass. I was able to shake her hand and take 2 pictures with her. It is nice to be able to look at all the cars up close and talk to the drivers (when they are not busy). I just wished I had the next day off to see the race finals and NOPI Chics race :). I met some nice people there for the heads up racing and some SE-R peoples too ;) . I did not spend too much time at the cars show as my interests are in drag racing.

If anyone gets a chance to go, it is worth it. One year, I would love to make the drive to Atlanta for the big NOPI event.

I went today,, SUNDAY, for a few hours and I had a blast!!! Definitely worth the $25!!

it is lisa KUBO ( we corrected you once), and she ran an 8.9, not an 8.6. The 8.9 is her best yet

Despite the fast and furious theme -nopi went all out , I had a lot of fun-

There were alot of nissan's there on saturday-

I met many great pro-active nissan owners, covering the whole spectrum from se-r's, 240's ,and Z's

In pro-drag the Two turboed solara's ran an et of 7.11 & 7.13-the best that day -

-and of course meeting lisa kubo ;)

It was a lot of fun. Best part of the weekend had to be when Chris Rado remembered a friend and I from before. We had met him like a yr and half ago and he rembered us. We said oh hell ya that mans are boy:D

Yea, Lisa is losing some weight but noticed she smokes. No matter to me as she is not my wife so I don't have to kiss her :rolleyes: . But I would not pass up the chance.

She was way cool and did not mind taking a picture with me.

I will keep working more on the web site adding more pictures so stay tuned.
