here's mine I just paid it off after 3 years

I don't understand you mechanics!! Why pay so much for a box? I'm a detailer at a local dealership and one of my jobs is to clean the floors (oh so fun) and the mechanics go ape shit when you even get water spots on them.

Pics of one and a half of mine... Matco & an early Kobalt box from Lowes back around 98 or so. I've got a couple more. I'll have to get some better pics.

Ignore the mess. This is the only place to wrench out of the weather.

The saying "you get what you pay for" really applies to boxes(in my opinion)...Most technicians get a bigger box and pay a bit more even *** they dont fill the box right away, but in the end it ends up getting filled up. As for getting water spots on them, i guess its just that they work hard for what they have so they wanna take care of it as best they can just like a new car or new paint job. just my 2 cents.

As for me all i have is a Napa tool cart w/a drawer and a craftsman 3 drawer top box, im waiting for Home Depot to get more boxes in as they have run out.:(

.....its a status thing. trust me when i say you wont understand unless your a dealership mechanic. i would LOVE to get a snapon classic98 but i cant even afford to move out of my parents house. so i currently have a 42inch wide craftsman with an add on side bay. so its currently about 55inches wide and i think 17 or 18 drawers.

these snap-on and matco tool boxes can be $5000 and up. they make payments on them. these boxes are just like your car. just imagine someone spilling something, leaning on, getting spots on your car.....same deal.

man you guys are ballers, i only got the cheap ol plastic craftman tool box that came with the 215 peice set of tools, but the tools and stuff are all lying on the floor cause i hate damn thing. I need to get a bigger tool box that i can stroll around instead of picking the whole tool box up.

Cornwell is probably the best box/deal on the market right now..... Fit and finish is top notch and sometimes you can find a blem or a slightly used box for a great price!
