Hey is there anyone else out there waiting on a ECU. I ordered mine 7 weeks ago. When I ordered they said it was a 3 week wait. I was fine with that. Well on the 4th week I called and they said that they were behind and the faster I sent my compter the faster I would get one. I sent mine and they got it two days later. I called back the end of the next week and they said that when I sent mine in I was put back at the end of the waiting list.:mad: I complained and they said they would do the best they could. The beggining of this week I called and they apologized and said that the technician( I assumed Clark) was working on mine and that it would be sent out either Monday or Tuesday. I am paying for 2 day shipping so it should have been here yesterday or today. I called back today and the damn thing still hasn't been shipped yet. He was supposed to talk to someone and call me back before they closed but didn't and I am getting tired of all this. Ok I am through just had to vent for awhile.

Did you order yours direct from JWT? If so, that could be the problem. It's been discussed on this forum and on the SE-R Mailing List many times. Unfortunately, JWT is a small operation (two or three guys) and is not set up to cater to the individual buyer. It's not like you ordered your ECU from SEARS and they have a few thousand just sitting in some warehouse. Each ECU has to be done individually. It's truly a custom job.

I'm not trying make excuses for them. If they promised a certain date and haven't come through, well shame on them.

What I am trying to say is that others who have purchased JWT products from retail outlets (I include myself in this group) have not had to wait nearly as long to receive thier items. Put yourself in thier shoes. You've got a $20,000 order on your right and a $600 order on your left, which one are you going to get done first?

I completely agree with you. JWT is solely responsible for everyone of us who want customized ECUs. Thats alot of damn people. I just wish they would get their shit strait and tell me when I am going to be able to get mine. :D
