I did a good tune up today which included the following:

Spark plugs BKR7E-11 .030 gap
Stock wires
cap and rotor from nissan

I changed the oil and filter.

I took of the the piping that the BOV is on, off and cleaned the TB


NOW the idle won't go down and I don't know why
I've tried adjusting the idle with the screw and with the screw all the way in it's still idleing about 1500 RPM
What gives. I don't know why.

I didn't touch anything else.

Now does anyone have any idea what I did to cause this.

When you cleaned your t/b you opened up the passage for a higher rpm idle. Did you do the idle adjustment properly? Go to se-r.net if not sure.

Yes I've tried adjusting the idle many many time.

Since I've been driving it around I've noticed a few things

No matter weather the engine is hot or cold when I first start it up it idles fine. But rev it up once or twice and it starts to idle High(EX. 1200-1500 RPM) And it won't come back down. Now if I turn the car off and turn it back on it'll idle ok till I rev it.

A few months ago my car did this. Its the throttle cable:

either A it needs to be adjusted or B (like mine) theres an obstruction near or on the throttle cable
