you should be able to do this stock..but...I really think if you dont know how..maybe you should drive more before attempting such acts. BTW.it is also hard on the drivetrain, and eventually your tires...

redline it, throw it into second, and dump the clutch. if it'll chirp, it'll chirp. mine does it without problem and, most of the time, i'll get a little wheelhop in there to go with it. i haven't done it in a while, though, as it really makes no difference to me. i'd rather _not_ do it, so that i don't harm anything and increase the wear on my brand new shoes (tires).

My car roasts the tires in 2nd gear. I have the ACT extreme pressure plate with the street disc and have maybe 130hp.

You might not want to start chirping gears as soon as you get the clutch put it. you need to drive it easy a few hundred miles to break it in.

Yeah I know I know...I was told around 200 miles before you are allowed to have fun in the car again..I'm just getting the heavy duty pp w/ street disc, though, still just as bad/good?

Nismotic, I'm getting my clutch put in by a family friend who owns a shop. His name is jerry, and I forgot what the name of the shop is...I think JP's transmission. Its on carroll street, off of 17-92. Yeah, I know...that's a long road. The only thing is he's pretty busy so I've had to wait a week for it!!! AHH! The anxiety is killing me!

I wouldn't jump on it for a while dude, you risk glazing the disk or worse. Take it easy for the recommended 400 mi by ACT.

Get an ASGM (anti-static grip modulator) Spec V. My car's a chirping monster now!!

I went 400 on my ACT HD/SS...and it will readily chirp 3rd..but, I dont just because of the 3rd gear problems higher HP cars experience...this was with 17's too..:D You want to drive it like a grandma would...and every lil punk in the world will come out from the woodwork to dick with you.just do as normal..and let them be punks.

The ASGM Spec V is completely unproven. Doesn't APC make that one? Total crap!! Greddy and HKS both have their Gen 3 out. It's completely hydraulic and works with the stock or aftermarket limited slip for complete chirp control. You can pick which tire you wnat to chirp and the duration. Very nice!

Uhhh, no. Spoon makes the Spec V. You're thinking of the AGSM V (Aural Generating Simulation Modulator) where it's basically a dash mount computer (like a V-AFC but with the stupid swimming dolphin GUI) and two bright red speakers mounted on each lower A-arm... All the chirping you want and none of the tire wear...

If you think the Gen 3 from Greddy is nice, you should see Spoon's Spec V. The transmission mounted controller is encased in all carbon fiber and directly controls the inner CV joint angle which we all know is crucial to overcoming traction to allow chirping. I can bring it to VIR in the fall if you like.
