I actually drive a 99 Sentra SE Limited but essentially it's mechanically the same and has the same suspension as the 95-97 200 SX SE-R
I was thinking about lowering the car but was worried that my shocks might leak if i don't change the shocks as well.
Was thinking about getting H&R or Eibach's ... trying to do things on a budget and was wondering if you guys could give me some input!
Thanks.
Bensa. :D

well, i drove on eibach pro-kits for about a year. after 7 months i kinda got tired of the crappy ride. then again, i put a lot of miles on her, too. you can get a decent ride from the pro-kits, i wouldn't go w/ the eibach sportlines, they're too low for our cars (suspension travel already sucks, going lower will only make it worse). but try and save up for the AGX's or Koni's while riding on stock dampeners.

Word! My lady has Motivational shortened struts and KYB's in the rear with her Pro-kits and the ride is really comfortable. I seriously did not notice a difference in ride quality. If you're just looking to drop your car and are not going to be doing any road racing or auto-x this will be a good set-up for you.

I run AGX B13 struts on the front of my 99 SE-L.
This will give you 3/4" move travel up front. If you cut the middle out of your bumpstops that gives you another 3/4" of travel.
This set up nets over 1 1/2" of travel. I used this set up with sprint 2" drop springs with 1/2 a turn cut off spring. This dropped the car over 2 1/2' in front and I almost never hit bump stops.
Got tired of scrapping bottom of car, so went to Sportlines and car is smoother than stock. I am using B14 AGX on the back and Pro-kit springs. This gives the car a nice profile. Most lowered cars look like the rear is lower than the front. My setup rides good and was very reasonably priced.

That sounds like a very nice set-up gruven99. If I would've know about the B13 shocks fitting in the B14's sooner I think I would have opted out for that set up. Especially since I'm since I'm only using Pro-kits on my girlfriends car.

My plan of action will be the B13 KYB AGX for the front, Reg AGX for the back, motivational rear mounts, and pro-kits... that should be a nice, decent ride

I just finished prototyping a Tein SS coil over kit. The ride is just AWESOME. It should be available soon and will be much cheaper than the Motivational kits. This is a true coil over setup. You can see whats in the kits here. http://www.tein.com/ssdamp.html I am a dealer for Tein as well here in Arizona so if anyone is interested let me know. My car is lowered about 2"s right now and it rides like a dream. The car is stuck to the ground as far as handling too.

Hey AZTurboSE, would you say that they perform better than the popular GC/AGX setup?

I had the GC/AGX's in my car. I sold them to my brother. This is a way better setup in my opinion. I will have pics available soon. The camera is currently in use. I also ordered the pillow mounts that are available for this setup. The front mount incorporates a built-in camber adjustment.
The car rides very well and I have yet to push the limits... though I have scared a few friends with some high speed turning.

Just do not buy Sportline springs. That is my advice.

my dad run's the full race tein coilover on his 93 rx-7 and it rides about 1 1/2 lower and like a dream
my car with agx/h&r rides harsher than his
if you have the cash wait for the tein you won't be disapointed if you don't get agx/h&r
never bottomed out and i run the agx at 3f 6r
