In memory of Greg Perry's write up on the turbo install I will try to give everyone a little info on how the install is going daily. As you know I broke my finger so I didn't take many pictures of the VE sitting on the pallet. Suffice it to say that it looks very much like a DE except it has no egr stuff under the intake manifold and has two cam activation switches on the side of the head. In the picture you may notice that the intake was damaged. Bigtom has sent one out to me overnight to replace the damaged one. To install the VE I had to take the AC bracket, intermediate shaft bracket, and dog bone mount off the DE and install them on the VE. Also, I removed the exhaust manifold before install to free up some room and make it easier to clean the old gasket off the engine. Very easy stuff. I moved the Front O2 sensor wires to the back of the engine bay by just opening up the wiring loom and cutting the electrical tape so that it was free to be moved to the back. I then re taped everything the way it was. I purchased a new front O2 sensor off of a non-turbo 300ZX, because it has a longer wire then most. If this scares you just purchase an O2 sensor for a 3.5 Pathfinder which should reach with no problem (I am not sure of this). My new header has the front o2 sensor down by the shifter and not by the radiator. We then just did the install like any other, from the bottom using a hoist to raise the engine into place. I need to say that I could not have done any of this with out the help of sr20sleeper and peanuthead from the forum, also my friend Jerry (95 M3) took off from work and helped all afternoon to install the clutch, flywheel and transmission and all those brackets I mentioned. It would never have gotten in without there help. Also, thanks to Bigtom for helping get a replacement intake so fast. Just so everyone also knows the shipping company admitted liability for the damage. These things sometimes happen in transit. Andreas did a great job removing anything that would/could have been easily damaged in the transit.
This shot shows the exhaust ports.

This shot shows the cam switches and the block that is stamped sr20. How interesting.

The new intake manifold just arrived. Took less then 12 hours form SR20Development.
Today I hope to connect the wires, distributor and the throttle body.
Sorry about the picture size but I have no way to make them smaller (to my knowledge).
