Gents,
How much would you expect a 4 Fogger (soft plume) system running at 7psi fuel pressure to produce at the wheels. 20 / 20 fuel and Nitrous jets. This is a Pro Fogger 4 Cylinder Kit, if that makes any difference.
I'm getting 54 whp out of the system.
I'm 5 degrees (31 deg total at 8000rpm) retarded and shooting from 4500rpm. No knock at all from the combustion chamber.
This is a carbd Neo 1.6 with N1 Cams.
How much of a shot can these SR16 Pistons take?
Does 54 sound about right for that jet combination?
Cheers.

Sounds about right and thats at about the limit of the SR pistons.
I like to put a regulator on the fuel and tune the fuel pressure a little depending on bottle pressure.

Thanks Mike. Never knew you played with this stuff as well.
I've been realy tempted to go for about 25 more whp but I have no experience with Nitrous at all.
What do you target as a lean limit when on the bottle.
The 20 / 20 combination is showing 11.2 to 12:1 AFR range.

To be safe, I tune in the mid 10's but the pressure drops after a few seconds, and it slows down. it doesnt register on the dyno as its only one gear but it will sag rich over a 1/4 mile run.
To work right nitrous needs to be boosted with nitrogen or some other higher triple point gas and regulated to around 1100 psi. Then it can be tuned well. This is why I stopped using it for more than just small power gains.

What 1/4 mile times are you running with that set-up?
