I just discovered that the Falken Tire Import and Truck Bash is at Indianapolis Raceway Park the weekend of August 16, 17, and 18. It includes import drag racing, a car show, a sound competition, and all that other 'lifestyle' crap mixed in.

I only care about going racing. :p IRP is the place where I popped my drag racing cherry some 15 years ago, and I wanna' take the SE-R there.

Anybody interested in hitting this up? As of today (7-28), I am planning to trailer my SE-R up and try to do some damage in the drag racing brackets.
This could be a spectacular Geek-Out for all the Midwest forum members.

I have a feeling that you need to go throught he preregister process to get to the schedule, but that's just a guess.

If all goes as planned, I would come up on Friday afternoon. Stake my pit space, put up the tent. Most drag events have qualifications on Saturday mornings and eliminations on Sat. night-Sun. morning.

My nitrous bottle *may* re-appear for this one. :p

I wont actually be racing but so I don't really need to preregister but thanks. I know a few people that have full out drag cars have to see if theyll be there. One guy has a full race h22a civic that has the potential to run atleast low 9's maybe high 8's that weve all been waiting to see make a full on pass, he has run it before but just to do some real world tuning on the setup.Well see ya there.
