Been learning a ton from the board, especially JGY...very knowledgeable and friendly person. Good prices too!

Anyhow, got to thinking (...that spells trouble), and it seems like the SR20de is just like the sr20det w/out turbo and additional oil squirters somewhere (...ok, I admit it, I'm not mechanically inclined).

So my thought was...would an SR20de with a "disco potatoe" turbo be better/stronger/faster/as reliable as a straight SR20DET?

What would I need additionally for the disco potatoe to work (once it's officically released) on an sr20de?

Sorry, I don't have a B15, but I was looking at possibly doing this for a classic se-r, or a 1st gen G20.

well, for basics, you would need a GTIR manifold, 50lb inj, fuel rail, walbro pump, oil lines, downpipe, ECU, I/C etc, etc,
