where do you draw the line between 50LB inj @ 4bar and 72lb inj @3???? what the pros and cons of either?

I've come to the consensus that it realy doesn't matter... Some people say that the 72lb program doesn't idle right... and some say that it runs fine now.. Some say that the 4 bar 50lb program doesn't work right and is finicky.. I personally like the 50lb 4 bar program. It's cheaper and can make plenty of power. Unless you're going for 500whp.. I think the 72's are overkill..

I'm inclined to disagree. Idle/drivability issues aside, the 72lb injectors will be cheaper. They cost more per injector; in either case you have to get the reprogram, but with the 50lb injs you have to also buy and setup an adjustable FPR. With the 72s you can just use the stock regulator, and even at 3bar, they will flow more than the 50s at 4bar. I'd take them over the 50s, even if just for simplicity's sake.

IMHO, of course :)

if i'm shooting for around @385 whp, then which? i know either would work. I'm leaning towards 50LB, but i like the idea of not having to mess with a FPR

50lb 4 bar will work great for that..

My car did 380whp with the 50lb injectors, 4 bar setup using an Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator. Idle is spectactular, I've been driving this setup for about 20k miles with absolutely no problems. The cars I have seen first hand with 72 lb injectors have had rough/bad idles, but this have been taken care of already.
