Day Three was just a couple hours really. Again, everything is going like clockwork. I installed the MSD 6AL today. My JWT ecu was set with an 8000rpm redline and the 6AL gives me a way to chose my redline depending on future mods and things. Plus it gives me a nice place to get my rpm trigger from, plus I think it looks cool. Some say it will help horsepower as well. I mounted everything on a sheet of lexan that will mount above the DynoBatt battery that lays flat in the oem battery tray. I will post that pick after I neaten up the engine compartment wiring looms. Here is a pick of the MSD setup.
Here is a picture of the wire you need to attach to the distributor. Directions supplied by JWT.
After I wired everything up using the directions supplied by JWT everything fired right up. It defiantly idles smoother now. Not that it was rough in the least before.
I also got some pictures of how I modified the stock DE distributor in case anyone is wondering. Basically all you do is grind the second attachment “ear” down a little more then half way.
I also had my DE throttle cable attachment point welded to the stock VE one. This fixed the problem of my cable being to long. Forgot to take a picture of that. Next time
Edit: All the pictures are in the link below.
