The NOS opener is just a solenoid that you put right after the bottle. So you can "open" and "close" the bottle - really you just open and close the solenoid. Then you've got the NX opener, which replaces the handle, and has a motor in it that actually opens the valve on the bottle - same as you would w/ your hand.
