does anyone know FOR SURE if an axle from an automatic transmission in the se-r will work with a 5spd transmission from the se-r....please help!! i HOPE they are the same!!

i needed someone to QUOTE on it :) im doing a 5speed swap and thats the last thing i need to make sure of. if the manual ones are like 1mm longer then i dont give a shit they will still work fine. but if the spline count is diofferent then im screwed. anyone have any thoughts?

I went to the partsbin.com and they listed standard transmission axles but none for the automatic. I also seem to remember some one posting the same question before and they are different.

thats the thing...i work at a nissan dealer...but we dont have any in stock and would have to order them just to examine them. the actual part numbers are different, and one of the parts guys says they are interchangable and will work fine but the other guy says they are physically different. and they are both pretty reliable sources so i was hoping to ask someone who has ectually seen them matched up, or who has one for a manual without abs laying around in theyre garage and could do a spline count/length measurement. thanks guys
