I was lucky enough to have a very good engine builder spend some time on my VE.

Here are some pics of the 48mm ITB's he made for my motor. Tell me what you think. It uses a stock DE fuel rail & TPS. And comes with vacuum lines for the brakes or MAP or whatever you wanna use it for. The runners are also port matched to the VE head.

Big a$$ plenum in CF or FG optional. Volume tuned for SR20 motors. :biggthump

Hi nice work
can CalumSult Realtime ECU be used to tune these or only standalone only and why did u use DE stuff on it such as fuel rail & TPS can the VE parts be used

How much did this cost, where can I buy it, can it be tuned with a piggyback controller, and how much whp does it put?

Looks good! Why are you using de injectors?

very nice!! HOW MUCH AND WHERE? Im assuming your going NA (DE injectors), make sure your plenum is not too big. velocity is more important than volume for NA (opposite for turbo)

and what are you gonna use tunoing wise?

are they DE itb's modified to suit?

Even still, I don't see the purpose of running the 259's. They max out at what, 175whp? Maybe they were just still in the de rail when he went to test fit the rail for pics

Yes they are but if more people join the club this guy would manufacture purpose build them for the VE

I'll try to answer everyone's questions in one go.

The DE injectors in the rail are just coincidence. I will be using 370cc injectors. A normal VE fuel rail does fit, except the mounting bolt tabs are in different locations. The DE rail bolts straight on.

The cast bit between the head and the trumpets were derived from the design for the High Port DE. That's why the DE fuel rail bolt holes correspond. However, certain changes were made to the ITB's to suit a VE. First of 48mm instead of 45mm. The 'runners' are port matched to fit VE intake ports and if you look closely there is a 1/4 inch black adaptor plate between the ITB's and the Head. This is to accomodate the VE head bolt pattern.

The VE TPS would probably fit, I just haven't tested it yet. A DE TPS fits for a fact. I have both so will use whatever one fits easier.

The trottle control is on the VVL selenoid side (so similar to stock cable location) and the throttles are balanced by the mechanism in the middle of the #2 and #3 throttles.

I am still to install the motor so I don't know how many whp yet. The motor is fairly built now, also with higher CR so will be hard to compare to bolt on VE's.

I'm going management, but with a plenum you can use a normal MAF and Calum ECU.

Lastly, yes there are available to anyone interested also. The trumpets and most other moving bits are anodized and different colour are available. Mine are silver obviously.
The setup comes as you see it there inicluding the tapped vacuum setup.

The same setup is also available for high port DE motors.

PM me for pricing as it will depend on the current exchange rate and shipping to your location.
