Check it out... I wanted to eventually go VE, but I am worried about getting parts when things break down and such, parts availability, etc.

Turbo is going through my mind as well...

After talking with V8Killer (Jay Whitely), he suggested this setup...

98 Block
300ZX NA Pistons (I may do JDM 10:1 SR20 pistons for a NOS setup vs. 11:1)
91-93 Head (w/ Headwork or just extrude honed)
91-93 Intake Manifold
Full Bolt-Ons (CAI, Header, Exhaust, Pulleys)
S4 cams (he suggested C series cams, but me no likey a bad idle)
JWT ECU
ZEX NOS Kit (maybe)

I'm looking for around stock VE power. I think I might go this route because all these parts are readily available. I would probably go turbo down the road, but I want to check out NA power first... If I do go turbo, it will be with a 10:1 compression...

What do you guys think?

I think you should just go turbo and be done with it...you'll wonder why you ever messed with NA in the first place. ;)

Hehehehe:p

I myself am going NA for now. Your setup sounds VERY nice. With a few other mods, you'll be turning nice times. And just think...If after a while, you threw a turbo on THAT motor...

While you are installing the pistons get some rods!!! YOu wont regret it. Since you are already in there. Plus you wont have to go back in when you go turbo, oh and you WILL go turbo.

N/A is never enough!
