Hey everybody!

A few days ago i noticed the when i would down shift my car from fifth to neutral or another gear it would be hard to get it out of fifth unless I raise the shifter and it would act normally. Also when i move the shifter from side to side in neutral I hear and feel this rubbing movement as if there were to metal touching. Any ideas? I think that i could be a bad rear motor mount that could have mad the engine and tranny lower and therefore not making it work right. BTW, I have a Pacesetter STS. Any ideas would be appreciated. TIA

Check the shifter bushing. My NX had the same problem, the bushing was beaten to death... Or try adjusting the adjustment "ball" if it is so equipped.
