ok, im gonna go ahead and keep the 92 se-r and go JDM with it. I went to the engine place and on each engine there is a little tag that shows compression, all but one of 7 read 9.5:1 except for the one i snagged that read 10.0:1!!!! and actually 2 read slightly lower than the 9.5:1, anyways i got the engine for 629, but im having a hard time finding a used tranny, mine is toast. Back onto the subject, im gonna throw in a tougher clutch and dont know the diff between ACT, clutchmasters, and centerforce, they all have kits around the $300 mark, which is good. what do you guys think. any opinions on pullies as well, is just doing the underdrive crank pulley efficient?

This is a little off topic, but you paid too much for a JDM SR20.:(

I just put in a Clutchnet Heavy duty PP (similar to the ACT) and a B15 disc.
The pedal feel is great, nice and smooth and it grabs awesome
No chatter or noise at all, and the clutchnet pp is less expensive than the ACT.

I got mine from Louis Anaya, turbochargedser i think his sn is

wow, $550 for yours? I paid $695 for my last one!!!! did you order it from somewhere or do your local engine places just have better prices? $629 is the cheapest i can find, especially since shipping is almost as much as the engine from some places. If there is a better deal to be had, let me know, but its kinda nice to look at seven of them and be able to compare and see what im actually getting. oh ya, they had one det in stock, $2100, but they wouldnt install it for me. thanks for your input guys.

I went with the 2 pulley UR set. for like $200 it was well worth it. Car feels more eager to rev. As far as JDm's are concerned, SOKO has them for $500-$550 all day long.

I took my car/clutch kit to the shop this morning. I am picking it up this afternoon (July 31) and will be sure to report to EVERYONE on my results. I have been waiting 2 god forsaken weeks to get this fixed. BTW I bought the ACT Heavy Duty w/ Street disc. Cost me 375 shipped w/ tax.
