so almost two years ago now i did the Toolapcfan HOW TO: Radiator fan manual override mod. its been working great, and its awesome when you are turbo not having to worry about overheating. well, about two weeks ago im driving at night and i see that my temp gauge is reading 200 degrees. with my fans ON my car never reaches over 165 degrees. so i pop the hood and i see my fans arent working...here is what i find out the next day when i check it out:

1. when i turn off my lights my radiator fans run.
2. when i turn on my lights my radiator fans turn off.
3. with the key out of the ignition, when i turn my lights on it lights up my whole dash as if my car was in the acc position of the ignition.

i checked all my fuses, all my relays and i found everything to be ok.....

any ideas electrical guru's?:biggthump

Haha, this is why I don't do electrical mods. PITA to troubleshoot. My Rx7, when I open the door, the radio shut off, when I turned the dome light on, the radio came back on....kinda like your situation. You need a digi multi-meter and a prayer..GL to you.
