try shifting at 8k every gear and see where it lands you. with slicks

Believe me shift it 8,000 at the track and compare it shifting at 7,500 or 7,000
and please dont do a 3-4 shift at 6,500 if you pass in 3rd at 8,000 thats ok...

I was trapping in 3rd and I think I will continue to do so since 3rd is good to over 100 mph with the 8k redline.

shift at 8. i shift my se-r with only header and some exhaust at 7500 and run a 9.5 in the 1/8. and i have the same tires you have. youll be fine on drag radials
