I currently have a blown head gasket and I have deceided to do a bolt on turbo set-up with either a T25 ot T28 and my quetion is: While I am replacing the head gasket should I go to a thicker one? Will this really help because all of the internals wil be stock and I don't know if the lower compression will let me boost more safely. If not I would rather save the $ and spend it on something else. I am just lloking to boost like 7-10PSI. I am shooting for lke 200HP right now. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I believe this question has been answered for you before...use a stock gasket. There are plenty of people that have used the stock gasket up to over 20psi. 7-10psi is nothing. Just make sure you get the head decked ever so slightly to ensure it's perfectly flat so you get a good seal.

Thx man, I have been pondering this install for quite some time now so sorry for the repeat. Cool, now I can save up some $ for An ECU. I dont know his name but a guy in this forum that has a NX w/ a BBDET is running w/out a JWT ECU and says it runs good, but with a bolt on kit is it a must?
