Just put new coupe 19" wheels on Gennifer (the G) and some new rubber (Goodyear F1 All-seasons). 255-35-19 in the rear, 235-35-19 in the front. Its the only tires that come in all season in a size I need, which sucks because I'm not the biggest Goodyear fan. I'm in the process of getting some G35 or Z springs to drop her down a bit. Damn Nissan and their 4x4 stances

With Sara in the background, holdin' it down. Notice the abyss where the FMIC used to be, now that she's VE'd:

EDIT: Now dropped on a full 350Z suspension (shocks springs and sways)!

Nice Chris! We picked up some 19" coupe wheels for my Dad's G last fall. They really look sharp on the sedans. He hasn't bought the new tires for them yet but I think he's going 235-45-19 all around. I also picked up some 350Z springs that are going on soon.

Chris, the coupe wheels on the G gives it a nice touch. And Toyo carries the Proxes 4's in 235/35/19, something to think about next time. The closest they have to 255 is 245/35/19 or 265/30/19.

Thanks. I had seen those, but I wanted to stick with 255/35 because its the closest to the stock tire diameter. 245/35 throws off the speedo more than I would like as does 265/30, plus 265 would be too wide for the 8.5" wheel, and rub the fenders even more.

I love the G :D Thanks for the comments guys!

Z springs are on the way now. I got unrevised ones, and the spring rates are close enough to my original springs, so I can use my sport-suspension shocks (made by Koni, btw) with them. They should drop the car 1". :) Not bad for $50 shipped lol! Pics of the drop coming as soon as the springs are on. Next up, Z sway bars, then a 5/16" intake manifold spacer, true dual exhaust and then the car will stay that way until I supercharge her when its paid off. It should be paid off by 2010.

I do miss it, Diamond. A LOT. :(

You will like the plenum spacer Chris it really does make a difference in power.

Nice, that's next on the list then. Did it make any additional intake noise?

And what size tires does your Dad have on there now? Sounds like he's not having any rubbing issues. I'm on a quest now to find a fender roller or a local shop that will do it. I refuse to do anything ghetto on my G, I've done enough ghetto stuff in the past to the SE-R

nice cars...i love the g..reminds me of miine but mines CB ciolor and still all stock stock lol.... hey i though the spacers only made a big difference on the rev-up motors and not the non revs(03-04years)??

Looks good man. The z springs will definitely compliment the rims.

Is that VE treating you right?

Its hard to say whether the spacer added any noise, the CAI was already pretty loud.

He has 235-45-17 on the factory sport wheels and suspension now. The Z springs and coupe wheels have not been installed yet.

Thanks :) No idea if it makes a big diff or not, I haven't really done any research on it yet.

Yes, the VE has been good to me so far. Decent gas mileage, good pep, but it seems to be digesting oil. Going to try switching around to thicker grades, or even back to regular dino oil. After 5,000 miles, she was down a quart of Mobil1 10w30.

Can't wait for the Z springs to get here!

LOL, no that's ok. The names of my cars have a meaning, they aren't just arbitrary names I pulled from a hat!

I can only imagine what a CAI sounds like. My JWT POP is pretty dang loud!

Oh, from the pic, I thought you were already rollin on the 19s. Guess that was just a test fitment?

Thanks boss. It is an '04, but not an 05-06 front end. The 05-06 front end doesn't have the license plate sitting flush, though otherwise it looks very similar. What I have is actually an "OEM" piece, combined with the side skirts and rear valance, called the Nismo Aero Kit. You can order through the dealer for like $3-4,000, but luckily my car already came with it. Easy to confuse with the Aero package, which is simply a rear deck spoiler and some aero trays beneath the car, which my car also has.
