I have a 98 Se with non LSD. I bought a LSD tranny out of a 97 and installed a Quaife. Now I have an driver side axle from BAP Geon and I couldn't get it in. My finger on my right hand is broken so I couldn't push very hard. A friend who just did a axle swap on a classic came over to help and looked at my axle and said it was the wrong one. The part going into the tranny was half the length of the part in the hub. He said on his car the parts into the hub and the tranny were the same length. I check the parts store and they list a different axle for the B13 vs B14. Does anyone know how long the part that enters the tranny is on a B14 LSD tranny. The splines inside the tranny are clearly longer then the splines on my axle that BAP gave me. They do seem wrong from what I can tell. Help please. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Has anyone used a 92-95 axle with a 95-97 tranny.

I have a 98 Sentra SE i switched from a 98 NON LSD Tranny to
a 96 LSD Trans.. You can reuse the passenger side axle. But
for the drivers side you need a 91-97 axle. You can not reuse
the 98 non lsd axle.
