I used heavy throttle's writeup when i did my swap. Now that im going back through all my wiring i come to a brown wire that apparently gets used as power for some sensors. heavy throttle says to link it with the black/red blue/red ignition wires that connect to the black/red wire behind the passenger side headlight. before i pulled the harness to cut/tuck it, the brown wire was running to another brown wire and the car ran fine. does the brown wire have to go to the black/red for the 12V ignition power or does the brown wire that stayed in the brown clip run 12 volts too?

what chassis are you using and what SR model are you using?
When i did my first and secoond swaps i never did any such thing. The only wiring i did was for the interlock switch (cut off the plug and connect the two wires) and switch my gauge cluster plug (small plug by ECU plug for the fasctory plug). Shouldnt need annything else as far as i know.

Im running a 92 hatch with a redtop. Ive done all the other wiring properly, otherwise im sure the car wouldn't have run, but for whatever reason, this wire seems to have been wired up to its match on the chasis, though ive seen another writeup now that suggested running it to a 12volt source. cant take my multimeter to it either cause the car battery is dead and the harness is not quite done yet. I think ill just wire it like i had it, then if the car doesnt run, i can just cut the wire and splice into the ignition which will be in the same location and i have the clips for it anyways.
unless anyone has feeback?
